Alto Marie Organic Garlic was created as a tribute to my sister who passed in 2023. She was an active leader and champion for civil rights within the UAW.

More recently, the brand has blossomed into a movement for budding entrepreneurs and trailblazing women. This shift has helped inspire social recognition and an ultimate seismic change in the way we at Groundswell Farms think about farming. We are hoping this will help inspire socially disadvantaged farmers to grow from mere cultivator to wealthy pillars in their respected space.
